This IDHS program provides special target populations of SNAP recipients with intensive education, job skills training, pre-employment services, and unsubsidized job placement. It was formerly known as Food Stamp Employment & Training.
The SNAP Employment & Training Program's (SNAP E&T) goal is to help you improve your work skills and assist you in finding a job through short-term training and work assignments as well as GED, resume-writing and interviewing classes.

SNAP to Success Eligibility:
Program eligibility
An individual is eligible to participate in SNAP to Success if they are:
* Eligible or receiving SNAP benefits;
* Not receiving cash assistance through TANF;
* Age 18 or older;
* Able to work at least 20 hours a week , or will be able to do so within the next 1 year;
* Able to participate in SNAP to Success immediately.
