Center's for New Horizons Transitional Job Program(TJ) combines 8-13 weeks of “paid on the job training” with intensive wrap around services that include, but are not limited to: intensive career counseling services, job readiness training, permanent job placement assistance, financial literacy, referrals to vocational and post-secondary Training Programs, and supportive services in order to assist job seekers with gaining the necessary skills and credit rial to be competitive in today’s job market.

Centers staff of qualified Workforce Development Professionals provide the support needed to prepare its TJ participants with necessary skills gap and employment training that allows them to build on their work experience while gaining marketable workplace skills and training in preparation for permanent employment while promoting self sufficiency.  Centers TJ Program features subsidized and unsubsidized employment opportunities in many industries, including but not limited to the retail, manufacturing, janitorial, security, healthcare, administrative and food service sectors.
